Day 1: Arrival

Check into the Hotel Plaza Omis from 2pm.  Take an orientation of the old town, find the best beach spot, take a swim, walk the narrow streets and relax into your new surroundings. Tonight you’ll meet your tour leaders and other families. Tomorrow you’ll begin your adventures. We’ll be having a Gala Dinner this evening, so don’t be late.

Day 2: Sea kayaking

One of the countries fastest growing sports is sea kayaking. It’s loved by adults and teens as no in depth training is required. It’s a extremely safe, rewarding and relaxing sport, which you can self navigate and discover the local aquatic life. Kayaks allow our guests to escape the crowded beaches and to paddle to quiet coves, deserted beaches and discover the real Adriatic coastline.

Day 3: White water rafting

Book a raft and biking holiday in Croatia, to really get off-the-beaten track. White water rafting is a great sport, and even better when experiencing it with like minded people in pristine nature environments (forget those man made ones back in England). Today, you’ll be splashing & thrashing your way down the white ‘Cetina’ river waters. Wet and wild are two words to describe today, and you might gulp some water along the way as we bump into rocks and ride the rapids. Don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands throughout and the grade of rapids are no more than grade 3. After rafting, either relax on the blue flag beaches, or rent a bike to discover  more of the local coastline (optional extra)

Day 4: Zipling

Back on land, it’s time to discover one of the gems of Croatian canyons from the air. You really can’t possibly come to the Dalmatia and miss the amazing Omis ZipLine experience/

Day 5: Beach day (optional Split tour)

Time to top up on the tan, and swim in the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea. Voted this year for the cleanest waters in Europe. If you can’t sit still and want to do more, why not discover Split’s Unesco old town. Split is the biggest city on the Croatian coast, with many historical roots. The UNESCO town is a must see, highlights being the Emperor Diocletian’s palace. We suggest a walk through the palace fortifications and its gates, and to see the historical square Peristyl. Split has wonderful small restaurants and cafes that serve local Dalmatian – Mediterranean food.

Day 6: Sunset Hike

This morning and afternoon is left open for your relaxation. Omis has many nice beaches, so why not grab that airport book and catch up on some reading. Late afternoon, we will embark on the hike and climb to the topf the majestic mountains that surround. At the top is the Omis Fortress. The panoramic views are incredible.

Day 7: Canyoning

Action packed family holidays wouldn’t be complete without trying our Cetina canyon routes. Canyoning in our region is perfect for all ages whether Dad or sporty teenage future Olympian. From rock pools to mini waterfalls, you’ll jump and slide your way through the Cetina canyon. Worried parents need not panic! There are no fear factor ‘leap of faith’ jumps. So those scared of heights don’t have to lose sleep.

Day 8: Departure

Time to pack and make your departures. We hope you’ve had a wonderful experience!
