Gozo

The Maltese island of Gozo sets the scene for a beautiful retreat in the sun. Drenched in mythical history, Gozo offers pre historical temples, fortresses and churches; all against a backdrop of the glistening Mediterranean sea. Beautiful quaint villages are scattered across the island, with plentiful greenery and delightful little farmhouses and churches to see and explore.

Cycling Gozo by mountain bike is a particularly satisfying way to see the versatile landscapes. With fishing and agriculture still prominent within the infrastructure, Gozo is less developed than the mainland of Malta and gives you a real sense of escapism sprinkled with a touch of exclusivity. It is also worth experiencing the neighbouring island of Xlendi, where there is an abundance of charming villages, a beautiful swimming bay and a fresh landscape to further inspire you.

The crystal waters surrounding the islands are known as world class scuba diving sites, as well as being excellent waters to enjoy sea kayaking activity days. There is no need to stop there though, for the waters on Hondoq Bay offer wake-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, water-skiing and even speedboat trips to the famous Maltese blue lagoon! With a friendly local atmosphere and good nightlife Gozo is a great retreat for active holidays as well as being a super island to chill and enjoy a spot of winter sun.
